# Rovara license grants

## MIT grant

Effective October 6, 2026, PrepLabsAI grants the rights under the MIT License in `LICENSE` to all
recipients of Rovara software and other Rovara work owned by PrepLabsAI, including every version
and copy distributed before this date and all future versions. This grant applies immediately to
earlier releases; recipients do not need to download a newer release to receive it.

## Previously issued Apache 2.0 grant

Effective October 6, 2026, PrepLabsAI also granted the rights in the Apache License, Version 2.0,
to all recipients of Rovara software and other Rovara work owned by PrepLabsAI, including every
version and copy distributed before that date and all future versions. That grant remains in
force. This is an additional license grant and does not take away rights already granted under an
earlier license or grant. The Apache License 2.0 text is preserved in `LICENSE-APACHE`.

For PrepLabsAI-owned code covered by both grants, recipients may rely on either the MIT License or
the Apache License 2.0. The MIT grant does not change the licenses of third-party components or
contributions not owned by PrepLabsAI; see `THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES` in release packages and the
applicable source files for their terms.
